About Us

The Midwifery Clinic in Borås, Södra Torget, and Heimdal is part of an area together with Bollebygd, Mark, Ulricehamn, Svenljunga, Tranemo, and the clinics in the Alingsås area.

The entire area is HBTQ certified, and we work according to ISO management and quality system 9001:2015. All clinics in VGR collaborate with our new service BMM Online.

The Midwifery Clinics in Borås and Bollebygd have a common manager and a close collaboration with each other, for example through joint workplace meetings and the same telephone system (ACE). Around twenty midwives and three nursing assistants work at the clinics. We place great emphasis on the work environment and work together to create a constantly developing operation.

About the Job

As a midwife, you work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological smear tests, contraceptive counseling, vaccinations for pregnant women, STI prevention work, and group parental support. You also work with telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students. Our mission also includes collaboration with family centers. At our clinic in Heimdal, we have an ultrasound unit.

About You

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience from working in a midwifery clinic is considered an asset. As a person, you are structured, proactive, and have good collaboration skills. You also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position.
